Why was OOR set up?

OOR Ltd was established because there was a need for theatre equipment identified by a visiting Doctor, Richard Reid. Dr Reid requested equipment from the Inverell Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber recognised the need for a good hospital but their Charter did not allow them to do this. They allocated $1000 to establish an organisation which could support the needs of doctors, staff and patients at the Inverell hospital. Thus in 2006 Operation: Operating Room was established.
